Educational Qualification

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

• Candidates appearing in their final year of graduation can apply but must submit proof of degree completion before the Mains exam.

• Must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject.

Age Limit (as of 1st January 2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 years

• Maximum Age: 37 years (General Category)

• Relaxation:

  • SC/BC of Punjab – up to 42 years

  • Government employees – up to 45 years

  • Ex-servicemen – Age relaxation equal to service period + 3 years

  • Women (Widows, Divorcees) – up to 42 years

  • PwD (Punjab) – up to 47 years

  • DSP/Deputy Superintendent Jails – Maximum age is 28 years
